Awards & leadership programs

The personal reward is usually enough for most volunteers. But sometimes recognition is nice as well. Many programs exist to recognize the outstanding work you may be doing in your community. In fact, you could use this recognition to shine a spotlight on an organization doing great work. Some programs involve money and others are leadership retreats. If you're doing something cool, think about applying -- or nominate a friend.
